Give your morning a head start.
Build a simple phone-free morning with a small boundary, a real-world activity, and a plan for your first check-in.
Your first waking minutes don’t have to belong to a feed. You can try a different start without changing your entire routine.
Pick one thing before your phone
Make coffee. Step outside. Stretch. Eat breakfast without a video. Choose something you already want to do, and put it before your first scroll.
Set things up the night before
Put what you need where you’ll see it. A book on the table or walking shoes by the door can be enough of a reminder. If you use your phone as an alarm, keep it somewhere you need to stand up to reach.
Choose a time to check in
A phone-free morning doesn’t mean being unavailable all day. Decide when you’ll check your feeds. Keep the tools and communication you need accessible, and apply boundaries to the apps that distract you.
Start with ten minutes
Try ten minutes tomorrow. If it works, repeat it. If it doesn’t, change the setup. The point is to create a morning you enjoy, not another routine to feel guilty about.
Scroll Patrol can help you put a boundary around selected apps while you get on with your day. Your morning still gets to be yours.
